Reiki Training
At the North Carolina Reiki Training Center, we offer Reiki Training classes in both Usui/Tibetan Reiki and Karuna Reiki®.
We are dedicated to providing you with quality Reiki Training in a relaxed professional environment so that you will leave the class confident of your Reiki Healing abilities. Therefore, Reiki Class size is limited to no more than 12 students per class. You will have plenty of time for personalized instruction as well as practice time performing self healing, and Reiki treatments on others. You also will greatly benefit by receiving a Reiki treatment during the class. This class will be both an enlightening and healing experience. I trust that you will enjoy the class as much as we enjoy teaching it!
The popularity of Reiki is growing rapidly around the World as many are learning of the wonderful benefits of Reiki. If you want more peace in your life, less stress, and to would like to help heal yourself and others, then Reiki is for you. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion, and anyone with an open heart and open mind can learn Reiki.
Some students would like to learn Reiki for their own personal well-being. Others, may be health professionals–i.e., Massage Therapists, Nurses, CNA, Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Surgeons, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists or others who would like to incorporate Reiki into their Practice as a complimentary therapy. If you are not a licensed Health Care Professional and would like to offer Reiki in your area, please check the city, state and local laws pertaining to your location as we make no claims as to your being able to practice without proper licensing.

Usui/Tibetan Reiki Ryoho-Usui System of Natural Healing
In the Usui/Tibetan System of Reiki there are four levels of training:
Please note that the ability to channel the Reiki Energy is transferred from Teacher to student during the “Reiki Attunement” process. In the Usui/Tibetan system of Reiki, students receive a total of 4 attunements–one in each class. Each successive attunement increases the amount of Reiki Energy Channeled. Therefore, it is recommended that students take all the classes in order to properly administer and Master the System Reiki in order to offer Reiki Professionally. Reiki 1 & 2 can be taken together in one weekend. Please note that there is a waiting period after Reiki 2 of 4-6 months before taking the Advanced Reiki Training. After the Advanced Reiki Training, students are required to wait at least 6 months to 1 year until being accepted into the Reiki Master Training Class. The waiting period is to allow you to adjust to the energy and positive life changes that will unfold, as well as time to practice and learn experientially. We do not recommend rushing the natural process.

Reiki 1 Training Class
Reiki 1 is the first class of a series of 4 classes leading up to Reiki Master. In this class you will be learn the Reiki Principles and teachings of Dr. Usui, how to perform Reiki Energy Healing on yourself, others, pets, plants & the planet. In this class you will learn what Reiki is, the History of Reiki, the major Chakras and associations, Reiki hand positions, Japanese healing techniques for self healing & healing others, Reiki Meditation & Protection. Practice Time to insure the student is proficient in all aspects of Reiki I Training. After taking this class, you will benefit by doing Reiki Self Healings once or twice a day for 21 days and beyond to have a more peaceful life.
Students will receive a Manual, Level I Attunement and Reiki I Certification. This is a One-day class usually taught on a Saturday in conjunction with Reiki 2 taught on Sunday. We teach both classes together as day 2 reinforces what you learn in Reiki 1 and doubles the energy channeled. Tuition: for Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 on same weekend price is $799. Note: we are no longer teaching Reiki 1 and 2 separately.
Continuing Education for Professionals
Massage Therapists will in NC & FL will receive 7.5 CE Credits approved by the NCBTMB
Occupational Therapists in NC will receive 7 CCA pre-approved by the NC Board of Occupational Therapists
Reiki 2 Training Class
In Reiki 2 you will learn how to send Reiki Distant Healing in the time-space continuum to heal trauma in this lifetime and past lives, you will also learn other techniques as taught by Dr. Usui and 3 Reiki Symbols to be used in treatments to allow deeper levels of healing. Practice Time to insure the student is proficient in all aspects of Reiki 2 Training. You will receive the Reiki 2 Attunement, Manual and Reiki 2 Certification. Prerequisite: Reiki 1. This is a One-day class is taught on a Sunday in conjunction with Reiki 1. Please note that we no longer teach Reiki 2 separately.
Tuition: $799 for both Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 together.

Occupational Therapists in NC will receive 7 CCA pre-approved by the NC Board of Occupational Therapists
Advanced Reiki Training (A.R.T.)
This is a one-day advanced class which includes:
- Attunement to the Usui Advanced Reiki Symbols which intensifies your energy
- Learn the first of three Usui Master Symbols to use in healings
- Learn Reiki Meditation that helps you focus and strengthen your ability to do Reiki
- Learn how to construct a Crystal Grid to send healing to many people at once
- Learn how to perform powerful Reiki Psychic Surgery
- Learn Powerful Brain Balancing Technique to help with Neurological Issues
- Practice Time to insure the student is proficient in all aspects of the Advanced Reiki Techniques
- Receive A.R.T. Attunement, Manual and Advanced Reiki Training Certification
- Pre-requisite: Reiki 2 and 4-6 months practice experience doing at least 15 documented sessions. Please note this class is a pre-requisite for taking the Reiki Master Training which can be taken within 6 months to 1 year after taking this class.
- Tuition: $499

Reiki Master Training
This is the final level, the Reiki Master level of Usui/Tibetan Reiki. After this class, you will have the knowledge and ability to attune others for all levels of Usui/Tibetan Reiki. You must be practicing for at least 6 months to 1 year after taking the A.R.T. in order to be accepted into this program. This 1-day intensive includes:
- Complete Reiki III Usui/Tibetan Master Attunement
- Training on how to give attunements for all levels of Reiki.
- Learn how to administer powerful Healing Attunements before starting treatments for deeper healings
- Usui System of Attunements as well as Usui/Tibetan System
- Two Tibetan Symbols are given for a total of 6
- Practice Time to insure the student is proficient in all aspects of Master Level
- After taking the Reiki Master Training, you will receive a Reiki Master Certificate of Completion and be eligible to take the Karuna Reiki® Master Certification.
- Tuition: $1,333
Prerequisite: Reiki Training I, Reiki Training II, and A.R.T. You will receive Reiki Master Training Manual and Reiki Master Certification.
Karuna Reiki® System of Healing
What is Karuna Reiki® ?
What is Karuna Reiki® ?
Karuna is a Sanskrit word which means compassionate action, or to do something to reduce the suffering of others. Karuna Reiki® is a higher frequency of energy healing that was developed by William Lee Rand and his associates at the I.C.R.T. (International Center for Reiki Training).

Karuna Reiki® is offered at the Practitioner Level or at the Reiki Master Level. Following are Descriptions for Each Level.
Karuna Reiki® Practitioner I & II Training Classes
This class is for A.R.T. graduates who would like to take their Energy Healing to a higher level. If you aren’t interested in teaching, but want to channel a higher frequency of energy in your healing sessions, this class may be for you.
This is a 2-day Intensive which includes:
- Karuna Practitioner 1 and Karuna Practitioner 2 Attunements and Instruction
- Learn 4 Karuna Reiki Symbols in each class for a total of 8 new Symbols which are more multidimensional
- Receive Karuna Reiki Practitioner Certification and opportunity to register with the I.C.R.T.
- Tuition: $799
Prerequisite: Advanced Reiki Training (Usui/Tibetan Royoho) and 6 months experience.
Karuna Reiki® Master Training Class
This class is for Reiki Masters who would like to take their Energy Healing to a higher level and become Karuna Reiki® Masters. However, the I.C.R.T. is now allowing Karuna Reiki® to be taught to graduates of the A.R.T. (Advanced Reiki Training) and be Certified as a Karuna Reiki® Practitioners.
This is a 3-day Intensive which includes:
- Two Levels, Two Attunements
- Four Master Symbols
- Eight Treatment Symbols
- Receive Karuna Reiki® Master Certification & opportunity for Registration with ICRT.
- Receive 45 pg. Manual by William Lee Rand
- Tuition: $1,333
After this class you will be able to teach all levels of Karuna Reiki®.
A Certification as a Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher and 6 months experience is a pre-requisite to this class.
